Industrial Wood
It is round and split wood other than firewood, suitable for processing due to its quality and size. Annual forest product production in Turkey is 20.5 million m3. 80% of this amount is industrial wood, the rest is firewood. Industrial wood; 40% is fiber-chip, 36% is log, 14% is paper wood, 5% is industrial wood, 4% is mine pole, 1% is pole and wire pole.
Approximately 150,000 tons of industrial wood is produced annually with our advanced technology machine park in our company.
Industrial wood production is increasing day by day thanks to the policies implemented by the General Directorate of Forestry of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs.
Log
It is produced from trees such as oak, beech, Scots pine, red pine, black pine. It is a round wood type with a barkless middle diameter of at least 21 cm and a length of at least 1.50 m. It is the most valuable product among forest products. It is used in the production of construction lumber and pallet boards in various sizes.
Logs, which are the industrial products produced and sold in the largest quantities by the General Directorate of Forestry in our country, are grouped in different ways according to their diameters and lengths. Logs are collected under four diameter groups according to their diameters as thin (19-29 cm), medium (30-39 cm), thick (40-49 cm) and very thick (50 cm and above). On the other hand, there are different lengths for coniferous (İ) and leafy (Y) logs according to their lengths; short (I: 1.5-2.5 m; H: 1.5-2.9 m), normal (I: 3-5 m; H: 3- 5.4 m), long (I: 5.5-8 m; H: 5.5-7.9 m), and very long (I: 8.5 m and above; H: 8 m and above) are taken as basis in four length groups.
Our company produces approximately 50,000 m3 of logs annually.
